i love this fat free vegan cooking blog. her recipe index is easy to navigate, she calculates nutrition and calories, and everything i’ve taken from her has been delicious.
i followed her first recipe and used organic golden raisins, walnut pieces, and maple syrup. i did not soak the raisins beforehand and i think i prefer the sorta-burnt-toasty flavor that resulted. it was awesome. next i’ll try her blueberry version.
i’ve also used her blackberry-lime tartlet recipe, though i had trouble finding agar powder and ended up using a vanilla pudding mix instead. i also zested lime peel on top of the finished product for effect. this recipe is really easy and has gotten big mmmms each time i’ve brought the tartlets to an event.
