alyssa monks (II)

I’ve already posted about the incredible work of alyssa monks,
but as i recently restructured this blog i found myself revisiting certain sites and finding new inspirations. as was the case when i browsed monks’ 2011 gallery. she repainted a piece, Window, and titled the second Window II. i’m so interested in what would bring a painter like monks to revisit a work for such subtlety.
