love in lincoln.

i’ll admit i expected a wedding in lincoln, in february,
to not be the most comfortable or relaxing of weekends.
but the two families that i witnessed coming together were joyous and gracious.
the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and hospitality suites were all fantastically executed.
the groom’s father sang beautifully as another family member played piano,
there was an eight piece band, delicious food and a full open bar all night.
i’d never attended a jewish wedding before,
but i’ve read up on the subject.
the couple tastefully interpreted the traditions and it was all quite moving. and fun.
here’s one of us for the record:
then it took hours of driving through the snow storm at 45mph to get home.
but now, we’re back!
and so is mingus from his second stint at camp bow wow.
